Tecmo Bowl vs. Madden 18

New, comments

For you oldsters out there, Tecmo Bowl of the 90’s was definitely a simpler, more pure form of entertainment.

Madden 18 was finally released Friday. Many gamers out there were eagerly anticipating the release of Madden 18, in the year 2017, which is actually like the 30th iteration of the Madden franchise. For every person excited about the release, there is an aging man who dreads the idea of having to learn new game modes, or how to properly utilize hot routes. Each year the football game becomes more complex - like your taxes - and each year it’s harder to keep up with the changes that have been implemented into the game.

This video pays homage to how simple games used to be. One could buy the video game, pop it in a game console, and play with their son or friend without having to wait for updates, or for the game to download. The 1990’s provided many things we all still love, including simplicity in video games, and this video shows how the evolution of gaming technology is tearing families apart. Tecmo Bowl vs Madden 18.

Enjoy!
