The final preseason game is all about the back end of a teams roster. Really only a handful of roster spots could be in play in this game, but its hard to know which those positions might be.
Here are a few players to watch during the Denver Broncos game with the Arizona Cardinals:
1. Kyle Sloter
This is Kyle Sloter’s big chance to do enough to be considered for the Broncos backup quarterback job while Paxton Lynch is injured. All reports seem to indicate that they have no intention to roll with Sloter at backup, so a big game here could change some minds in the front office.
2. Ty Sambrailo
The Broncos seem desperate to give Ty Sambrailo a chance to do something with his NFL career, but if he is now starting a center, this could be his final chance to show them something. He hasn’t been good anywhere he has played in his career, so I am doubtful. It is certainly something to watch for here.
3. Jamal Carter
The rookie safety has made such an impression that trading or cutting T.J. Ward has become a real possibility this week. The Broncos clearly want to keep him on the active roster and are trying to figure out how to do that.
