In the past, there were two sets of roster down dates. One cutting the roster down to 75 and one final one cutting the roster down to the final 53. Well, after a rule change, there’s only one set of cuts and by 4 p.m. ET(2 p.m. MT) on Saturday, all NFL rosters must cut down their roster from 90 players to 53 players. That means that roughly 1,180+ players will be hitting the waiver wire, released, or traded in the next 24 to 48 hours.

There will likely be a handful of surprise cuts around the league, some trades, and potentially some big trades. We also start seeing some Broncos roster moves begin to take place. Will the the Broncos trade or release safety T.J. Ward? Will they sign or trade for another quarterback? and will there be any other surprise cuts coming?

Follow a long here for every roster move made or reported and once the Broncos first move is announced, we will have a separate tracker for all the Broncos moves. We will also have separate posts on some key cuts made by the Broncos.
