According to multiple reports, the Cleveland Browns have released quarterback Brock Osweiler after trading for him this past winter.

Browns owe him $16 million, but Cleveland gets Houston's 2018 second-round pick.
We all remember how it ended with Osweiler here with the Broncos, it wasn’t pretty. Osweiler went on to have a bust of a season with the Houston Texans before getting traded to the Cleveland Browns. He was the “starter” for the Browns for some of the preseason but was eventually passed by Deshone Kizer. Now Brock will be searching for his fourth team in two seasons.
Now I know this question will not go over well with many in Broncos Country, but it is one that needs to be asked. Should the Broncos look to bring back Brock Osweiler to Denver?
Here is why it makes sense. First off, Denver Broncos President of Football Operations/General Manager John Elway spent a second round pick on Osweiler. He thought highly enough of Osweiler to name him the Broncos “quarterback of the future”. He also offered him a pretty big contract before being out bided by the Houston Texans, so clearly, there is some interest there. Also, Osweiler spent two seasons in Mike McCoy’s offense while he was with the Broncos. So it could be an easy transition for Osweiler.

The Broncos will be without Paxton Lynch until possibly October, and they may not feel highly enough of Kyle Sloter for him to be the main backup to Trevor Siemian. So could Brock return to Denver? I mean, it’s possible.
Here’s why it doesn’t make sense. Osweiler has sucked really badly since leaving Denver. Is he really any better than Kyle Sloter or Paxton Lynch? Also, there might be some bad blood remaining between the two sides considering how it all ended. Plus, Osweiler has had some attitude issues with multiple teams now. So it might not be worth it.
So I ask you Mile High Report, should the Denver Broncos look into bringing back Brock Osweiler?
