C.J. Anderson admits it’s good to learn from your mistakes after a win

New, comments

Listen to Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro from The Afternoon Drive have a chat with C.J. Anderson after the game.

The Denver Broncos discovered their rushing attack against the Los Angeles Chargers on Monday Night Football and C.J. Anderson was a huge part of that success. He finished with 20 carries for 81 yards on the night for a respectable 4.05 yards per carry.

“I think the play action was working well,” Anderson said of what went well in the game. “I thought we ran the ball decent. We definitely could do better on that. That’s on my part, myself and Jamaal. I thought that Trev played outstanding. We could have protected him a little better. We’ll accept the win, but we definitely got a lot of things to correct.”

Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro of The Afternoon Drive caught up with Anderson after the game to talk about the game above. He shared his thoughts on what went wrong in the second half and how they hope to keep that kind of issue from cropping up in the future.
