The Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys have released their first injury report of the week ahead of their much-anticipated matchup this upcoming Sunday. The Broncos did get some good news on the injury front, but might be without a key starter in their secondary.
Vance Joseph indicated DL Zach Kerr would play; Booker would not vs Cowboys. #9sports— Mike Klis (@MikeKlis) September 13, 2017
Safety Darian Stewart was listed as DNP today with a groin injury and his status is one Broncos fans will have to monitor throughout the week. With Cowboys running back Zeke Elliott coming to town on Sunday, the Broncos will need all the big hitters they can get.
Now like I said, they did get some good news on the injury front. Zach Kerr who is now listed as a defensive end, not a nose tackle like last week, will give the Broncos another mammoth big man to put a long their defensive line this Sunday to hopefully clog up running lanes. He will be a welcome addition to the Broncos defensive line.
As we will see every Wednesday, veteran running back Jamaal Charles and cornerback Aqib Talib received the day off today. No injury was listed and it's just simply a veteran’s day off.
As for the Cowboys, starting cornerback Orlando Scandrick has a hand injury and did not practice this week. His status will be something to monitor this weekend as .well
Here is your entire Wednesday practice report for the Denver Broncos and the Dallas Cowboys.
