First the good news.
Starting safety Darian Stewart who sat out Wednesday’s practice with a groin injury returned to practice today and was listed as “limited”. This is a good step forward for him and someone the Broncos will need to be healthy and play well this Sunday to stop the Cowboys top running game.
The other good news is right guard Ronald Leary. He was listed as DNP, but the fact that he was out there with a helmet is a positive sign. It means he is progressing through the concussion protocol and his chances to be fully cleared by Sunday are rising. His status will something to continue to watch on Friday and Saturday.
Now here’s the bad news. After practicing on Wednesday, defensive end Jared Crick sat out a practice after being limited the day prior. It shows that his back injury is still bothering him and could keep him sidelined for one more week. His status on Friday could decide whether or not he will play on Sunday.
As for the Cowboys, everything remained the same except for safety Byron Jones being added to the injury report with a groin injury. Their talented safety was listed as limited but doesn’t appear to be in danger of missing Sunday’s game.
