The final practice report is in for the Denver Broncos game against the Dallas Cowboys. Both Ronald Leary and Darian Stewart are listed as questionable in this game and the team will desperately need both if they hope to win this game.
Leary only participated in a walk through this week and has a few more tests to pass before he can return to the lineup.
“It was a walk through,” head coach Vance Joseph said of Leary. “Obviously, he was out there. So that part he’s passed. There are a couple more things he has to pass before he can play.”
Stewart might be closer to playing than Leary and returned to practice a day earlier. That is good news for the defense to have all hands on deck.
“Darian looks good,” Joseph said. “I’m hoping he continues to progress and obviously play in the football game. But, right now, he is questionable.”
The Cowboys have injuries of their own to contend with, but none from the strength of their offense - the line. Mostly, the defense on their practice report is ailing, which Trevor Siemian will be tasked with exploiting on Sunday.
Update: 2:00 P.M. MT
Leary has cleared the concussion protocol, per Broncos VP of Public Relations, Patrick Smyth.
