According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Denver Post, the Denver Broncos have promoted defensive lineman Kyle Peko to the active roster and waived rookie Tyrique Jarrett.
To clear a roster spot for Kyle Peko, the Broncos have waived Tyrique Jarrett

Peko was cut as the Broncos shaved their roster down to the final 53, but was quickly added to their practice squad. Jarrett was also added to the practice squad, but was promoted to the active roster due to injuries along the defensive line.
The Broncos apparently felt Jarrett wasn’t ready for the 53-man roster after last week, so they swapped in Peko who has a year of development ahead of Jarrett having spent all of 2016 on the Broncos practice squad.
If Jarrett clears waivers, we’ll likely see him added to the Broncos practice squad again.
