The biggest litmus test of the season for the Denver Broncos starts now.
It’s not the biggest game or even an important one when it comes to playoff seeding with the Dallas Cowboys being a non-conference opponent. However, the Broncos can find out just how improved their run defense is and that is a big question we all want to see answered.
The Cowboys will not be stupid enough to focus their game plan around the passing attack of Dak Prescott, but instead will use Prescott’s dual threat to try to get Ezekiel Elliot going early and often. They know their path to victory lies in the run game.
Meanwhile, the Broncos should keep pounding the rock with C.J. Anderson and Jamaal Charles. We saw a successful rushing attack opened things up nicely for Trevor Siemian in the passing game.
However it goes, this should be a really good football contest.
