Broncos offense has some things to figure out in the fourth quarter of games

New, comments

There is one issue the Denver Broncos need to figure out heading into the next few games.

NFL: Dallas Cowboys at Denver Broncos Ron Chenoy-USA TODAY Sports

The Denver Broncos are 2-0.

And they have done a lot of things right to get to that mark, but there is one huge area of concern that they need to fix. That is generating some offense in the fourth quarter in games.

Against the Los Angeles Chargers, the Broncos had four possessions in the final quarter, not including the final kneel down, and none of them ending in a very good way.

3 0 0 Interception
2 8 0 Fumble
5 28 2 Missed FG
3 7 0 Punt

Then this week against the Dallas Cowboys, the Broncos had three possessions with similar unsatisfactory results.

I’m not trying to detract from the wins, but it’s important to note any troubling trends from the team early in the season. I feel like this one could be something that might cost this team a couple of wins if its not figured out soon.
