RB Jamaal Charles and CB Aqib Talib with their vet rest day. Bradley Roby with no helmet but walking through drills.— Nick Kosmider (@NickKosmider) September 27, 2017
The Broncos have three veterans listed on their injury reports as NIR(Non-Injury Related). Those players being running back Jamaal Charles, cornerback Aqib Talib, and nose tackle Domata Peko. All three veterans are just getting veteran rest days and are not in danger of missing Sunday’s game.
The only two injured players listed as DNP’s are quarterback Paxton Lynch and cornerback Bradley Roby. Lynch is still recovering from a shoulder injury to his throwing shoulder and the Broncos are not really rushing him back. As for Roby, it appears he’s still dealing with the same injury that sidelined him for a few practices last week, but he shouldn’t be in danger of missing the game.
The good news was seeing rookie cornerback Brendan Langley listed as limited. He suffered a knee injury week one and has missed the past two weeks. So it’s good to see him trending in the right direction.
As for the Raiders, their only player listed as a DNP is their rookie cornerback Gareon Conley who is dealing with a shin injury.
