The story lines seem just a little bit bigger than normal this week.
- Bill Musgrave
- Menelik Watson
- Khalil Mack’s season (because we all know his success relates directly to his games against our janky tackles historically speaking)
- Division rivalry
- AFC West race
I don’t know. This just seems like a really big game. You hear people from the Broncos talking about it being a “must-win.”
That being said, it is only game 4 of a 16 game season. There’s a whole lot of football left to go. But you have to think the winner of this game is in a really good place especially as far as the division race goes.
And for the Denver Broncos, the season is very young and the hype for the first 2 weeks was very thick. The loss to Buffalo was deflating. Who are they really? A division rival is going to show something that the past two games won’t in a way.
At the end of the day my orange and blue soul says, as long as we beat the Raiders, it was a good season. Too hell with the narratives. I want to see the Raiders and their fan base broken and weeping after this game.
Hit up the comments and let us know what you think. Too big of a deal? Too small?
