Broncos Garett Bolles ready for a new challenge

New, comments

The Afternoon Drive cost Bolles $20, but he doesn't care.

With a big time matchup to start the season, Garett Bolles is going to have a pretty big test to start the season. Eric Goodman and Les Shapiro took a little time to talk to the rookie about his first true test in the NFL.

Goodman points out that the Broncos offensive line will be going up against solid pass rushing tandems. Joey Bossa and Melvin Ingram are just the first test in a stacked AFC West. Bolles and the rest of the offensive line will be up against the Raiders Khalil Mack and Bruce Irvin. If that isn’t tough enough, Justin Houston is joined by Dee Ford in Kansas City.

It is pretty safe to say that the AFC West is not a fun place to play for offensive lineman. Bolles will be protecting Trevor Siemian’s blind side Monday night. It will be a big test for the rookie. It could be the most important aspect of the game, and possibly the biggest issue for the Broncos all season.

The offensive line is a key to the game. If they can limit the pass rush, and allow the running attack to move the ball, the Broncos can win. If not, it will be a long night for Broncos Country.
