From now until March the rumors and speculation will amplify.

Heck, it’s only January and we got more Kirk Cousins to the Denver Broncos on Thursday with Brandon Marshall. If you didn’t see it, the Broncos linebacker was clear on who he wants John Elway to get at quarterback.

We can add another one to the list, this time former Broncos tight end Byron Chamberlain. In the first interview on the MHR Radio Podcast, Chamberlain laid out the current state of Denver’s quarterbacks and whether his former teammate should look to the NFL Draft or free agency for the answer. Chamberlain was clear he wants Cousins in a Broncos uniform come the 2018 season.

It’s a really fun interview and one Broncos Country will enjoy. We touch on what it’s like for him as a former player this time of year with the NFL playoffs in full swing, the NFL Network’s attempt at a Broncos top 10 list, how Steve Atwater needs to be in the Pro Football Hall of Fame, Pat Bowlen and Chamberlain even shared a special story about him and Elway for the first time (it will give you the chills when you hear it).

Chamberlain also talked about his new venture with FanCom Sports and how fans can win two tickets to the Pro Bowl and Super Bowl just by registering and interacting with him and the former NFL players on their site. All fans have an equal opportunity to win the tickets by signing up for free at FANCOM.Fans. Each post on the site is considered a ballot.

Over the next few months, we’ll see if Elway agrees with his former tight end and gets Cousins in a Broncos uniform. Given Chamberlain’s emotion just talking about the potential of this move, he would be ecstatic if it happens.
