The Denver Broncos lost to the Kansas City Chiefs to complete one of the worst seasons in franchise history. For many in Broncos Country this signified the end of the Vance Joseph era. However, John Elway saw it differently.
If the only thing on VJs resume is that the players like him he needs to go. That doesn’t indicate a leader of men. That shows he just wants to be their friend. The #Broncos don’t need a buddy. They need a leader.

After a plethora of players came to Joseph’s defense in the game’s aftermath. Shelby Harris and C.J. Anderson were on Joseph’s side after the game. Von Miller was outspoken about wanting him to stay earlier in the week. He has the support of the players.
Multiple players took blame for season as offered support for Joseph. Said Chris Harris, "We are all at fault for the results we got." Added Shelby Harris, "That's garbage. (Joseph) should be here. It's not his fault. It was our fault. I stand with Vance 100 percent" #Denver7

With all that support, Elway wavered, and here we are. Joseph remains the head coach. Anger, sadness, confusion, and disappointment have all popped up as words to describe this move. In the end, none of that matters.
The question now becomes, what are fans going to do? Lifelong fans have been through some lean times. Depending on your age, you might even remember Floyd Little being the only reason the Broncos are still in Denver. The 2010 season has been brought up often in comparison.
If you are still here, that means you have decided to continue to support the team. Are you prepared to stick around as times get tough? The mark of a true fan is supporting the team, for better or worse. Are you going to get behind Vance Joseph? Is this enough to drive you away?
Well, #BroncosCountry has been handed a turd sandwich. Vance Joseph coming back is just silly. I hate to say this but #JohnElway has tied his career to a bad HC. He will have to take a huge bite of said if 2018 isn’t a massive improvement for the #Broncos pic.twitter.com/bf5Nz0LuXu

Broncos Country is the best fanbase in the NFL. They demand greatness, and have a ton of pride. This move could cull the herd a little, but in the end, we have followed the franchise through thick and thin. Things have not been great, but remember, just two seasons ago the Denver Broncos were Super Bowl champions.
Will you continue you trust in John Elway? Will you still show up for games? How far does your support go? This may seem like a huge middle finger to the fans, but after calming down I am on board. Give me that turd sandwich. I’m ready for my bite!
