The AFC Championship Game looks somewhat similar to the one that took place in Denver in 2015, except the defensive team in the Jacksonville Jaguars will have to play on the road against Tom Brady and the New England Patriots.
In true Patriots fashion, Brady suffered a thumb injury that was reportedly gushing blood and required stitches. The injury on his throwing hand could hinder his accuracy or it could be subterfuge to lull the Jaguars defense prior to a big game.
If I were Jacksonville, I’d throw everything I have at Brady in the pass rush and try to hit him as many times as possible in 60 minutes. If they do that, then maybe his thumb starts to give him problems when the game is on the line in the fourth quarter.
