When Levi’s Stadium was opened in 2014, it instantly became a Super Bowl host candidate and was selected for it’s first Super Bowl in 2016. The selection came two full years before the stadium even opened. That Super Bowl 50 game just so happened to be between the Denver Broncos and Carolina Panthers.
As a local living near Sacramento, I was able to drive over and enjoy the events at Super Bowl City and downtown San Francisco. The stadium itself has a great look and feel to it from every aspect to it.
What puts Levi’s Stadium a cut above the rest when hosting the Super Bowl is the fairly stable weather in this region and its location near major urban areas, but not right smack dab in the middle of one.
Which stadium would you pick as the best neutral site to host a Super Bowl?
