It’s Wild Card week and though the Denver Broncos are already looking ahead to next season, there are still NFL games to be played. Here’s my best attempt at predicting the Wild Card weekend.
Tennessee Titans at Kansas City Chiefs
When: Saturday, January 6th at 2:35 p.m.
By every measure of reality, the Chiefs should obliterated the Titans this weekend. However, the Chiefs are playing a playoff game so I kind of like the Titans here. There is no reason for this to happen other than the Chiefs organization is cursed.
One and done. Titans 27, Chiefs 23.

Atlanta Falcons at Los Angeles Rams
When: Saturday, January 6th at 6:15 p.m.
If the Rams can get past a strong Falcons squad, I think they charge all the way through to the Super Bowl. The Minnesota Vikings are probably the best team in the NFL, but at some point Case Keenum is going to become Case Keenum. Or Sam Bradford will be Sam Bradford.
Plus, Wade Phillips winning a Super Bowl after being run out of town in Denver would kind of be fitting for the type of decisions John Elway made this past offseason.
Rams 36, Falcons 24.
Buffalo Bills at Jacksonville Jaguars
When: Sunday, January 7th at 11:05 a.m.
The Jaguars have the best defense in the NFL and it’s not even close. They should devour a weak Bills team that backdoored their way into the playoffs for the first time this century.

I expect this game to be the biggest blowout of them all. Good for Malik Jackson to be back to playoff football before the team he left could get back to playoff football.
Jaguars 44, Bills 17.
Carolina Panthers at New Orleans Saints
When: Sunday, January 7th at 2:40 p.m.
This game should be a dogfight. The Panthers have a very stout defense again, while the Saints have dynamic weapons on offense all over the place. This one is hard to predict, because both teams are equal and are division rivals. It really could go either way.
I’ll go with the home team, but I think whoever wins this game will march right through Nick Foles and the Philadelphia Eagles on their way to the NFC Championship game.
Saints 24, Panthers 21.
