According to the Denver Broncos, Vance Joseph and his staff will coach the North Team at the 2018 Reese’s Senior Bowl at Mobile Alabama.

Denver Broncos General Manager John Elway said he and the Broncos are excited to be apart of this great tradition.

“We jumped at the opportunity for the Broncos to work the Senior Bowl On both the coaching and personnel sides, the experience gives us a chance to meet these prospects and get to know them on and off the field. The Senior Bowl has a great tradition and we are excited to be a part of it.”

Head Coach Vance Joseph called the opportunity a tremendous evaluation tool in the scouting process of the offseason.

“The Senior Bowl provides our staff an up-close look at some of the top prospects in this year’s draft,” Joseph said. “Having coached the Senior Bowl in the past, it’s a tremendous evaluation tool spending all week with these players in a variety of group and individual settings. From the meeting rooms to the practice field, the Senior Bowl experience lets us see how these prospects work and prepare in a competitive environment.”This is an excellent opportunity for the Broncos coaching staff and decision makers to get an up close and personal look at the top Senior prospects in this year’s draft class.”

The three practices throughout the week matter more than the actual game and those practices are aired on NFL Network. So we will be able to get to see Vance Joseph and his coaching staff coach up the North team during that week. A really cool up close and personal look at what the new Broncos coaching staff will bring.

The teams and rosters will be announced and finalized on Wednesday, January 17, 2018, but we already know some of the big names who will be there.

Oklahoma State quarterback Mason Rudolph, Oklahoma quarterback Baker Mayfield, Oregon running back Royce Freeman, Western Michigan offensive tackle Chukwuma Okorafor, Oklahoma edge rusher Ogbonnia Okoronkwo, Alabama’s Da'Shawn Hand, and Michigan Maurice Hurst as well. To view all the accepted invites, make sure to check out the Reese’s Senior Bowl official site.

It’s a rather loaded group and I am excited that the Broncos will be there. We’ll have much more on this when the rosters are announced and during the week of practices.
