The Denver Broncos (2-1) will host the Kansas City Chiefs (3-0) on Monday Night Football in a game few expect them to win or even come close to winning, which is surprising considering its an AFC West divisional game and Denver at home is never an easy out even in the worst of times.
Right now, people only see Patrick Mahomes and that explosive offense. They are ignoring the porous and mistake-prone defense that gives up just as many explosive plays. If the Broncos defense can come out and generate pressure on Mahomes and keep the intensity high despite some of the big plays the Chiefs will get, then that should keep the game within striking distance for Case Keenum and the Broncos offense.
Many of us are worried the Broncos are not a very good football team and this game will either confirm our fears or allay them.
