With the loss of Matt Paradis to injury, the Denver Broncos looked to their past to find the depth they need to get to the finish line this season. They signed center Gino Gradkowski, who spent time with multiple teams through training camps the last two seasons.

Gradkowski, 30, was once acquired by the Broncos from the Baltimore Ravens in a trade in 2015. He spend the offseason and training camp with the team, before being released. Ironically, it was Paradis who put Gradkowski out of a job in 2015 as the second-year player locked down the center position for the Broncos Super Bowl run.

Moving forward, Connor McGovern will likely be the starting center for the Broncos with Gradkowski backing him up.
