The Denver Broncos will need all the help they can get against the Pittsburgh Steelers this week, so it was welcome news on Friday to hear that cornerback Bradley Roby has cleared the concussion protocol and is questionable to play on Sunday.
“We’ve got two guys out: [ILB Brandon] Marshall with a knee and [S Dymonte] Thomas with an ankle,” Head Coach Vance Joseph said on Friday. “We’ve got [CB Bradley] Roby as questionable for the football game. He was actually full today in practice. He’s passed the protocol, so he should be fine to go on Sunday.”
The questionable label appears to be a formality of the protocol as all signs point to Roby being on the field. This is a critical game for the Broncos 2018 season. If they are able to turn a 3-6 record into a 5-6 record we might be able to start talking about the playoff scenarios. With a soft schedule after this week, this team could get on a run considering how well they played against some tough opponents in their first nine games.
