100% positive reaction to Steelers at Broncos

Sometimes you got to take time to enjoy the moment.

Horse Tracks on Monday mornings for most of the 2018 season have mostly revolved around what’s wrong with the Denver Broncos. Who stinks? Who needs to lose their job? What does the future look like with an appetite for ineptitude?

Not today.

Today, Horse Tracks celebrates all that is good with the Denver Broncos. Let’s start with the uniform. There is no logo better than the old-school D. How about those orange pants?! We’re keeping it positive! Moving on.

Philip Lindsay is amazing. Let’s enjoy that Lindsay is so mindful of the standard that wearing #30 brings to the Denver Broncos. I’m not going to lie, I swoon with the rest of Broncos Country when I see that Mile High Salute. Oh, and that dude can run. Not only does he have a second gear, but he has incredible vision that allows him to use it. Keep up the good work, young man.

You didn’t see this coming, but here’s a shout-out to Isaac Yiadom who got called into action when Tremaine Brock suffered a rib injury in the 3rd quarter. Yiadom held his own when he was immediately tested by Big Ben. Not every guy can win a game, but every guy has the potential to blow it. You done good on Sunday, and we are rooting for you, Isaac.

Case Keenum hasn’t thrown an interception in 3 games. Don’t look now, but recently Keenum has performed up to the bill of goods on which he was sold to Broncos Country. I think he can be more than a dink-and-dunker. When he’s had the opportunity to show what we can do downfield, he’s delivered.

Bradley Roby’s should be proud of how he played on Sunday. Whatever plagued him during the Jets game appears to have been rectified.

Justin Simmons is a special teams freak. Seriously.

The play-calling in Sunday’s game took advantage of Philip Lindsay and once again proved that Keenum can move the sticks when he’s permitted to throw past them. Bill Musgrave is clearly getting more comfortable with the weapons at his disposal. Could it be that coaching and talent are aligning when it matters most?

It’s easy to point out flaws, but coming off of back-to-back wins, why dwell on the negative? Denver Broncos fans have quieted on the ‘tank for a draft pick’ talk and are actually imagining playoff scenarios. While Denver isn’t displaying the league-crushing dominace of the Peyton Manning era, the Broncos are better than hopeless and that’s something we should celebrate. Let’s enjoy it!
