FanPulse: After two big wins hope returns to Broncos Country

Hope. It’s a fleeting thing in the NFL, but it has returned to the Mile High city after the Denver Broncos slay two playoff contenders in back-to-back weeks.

Just a few weeks ago, the Denver Broncos were on the brink of settling into the franchise’s first back-to-back losing seasons since 1972. Instead, they won back-to-back games against teams that were sporting six-game winning streaks and have inserted themselves right back into the AFC playoff picture at 5-6.

In our weekly FanPulse survey, you can see that Broncos Country was at first skeptical and now full on believing that this team might just be turning a corner. If they continue to string together some wins in the final five games, expect this number to skyrocket.

The Broncos now head east to take on the Cincinnati Bengals who are reeling from a three-game losing streak and after predicting losses in each of the last two games Broncos fans are thinking this is Denver’s game to lose and see a 7-point victory is in store.

As optimistic as I feel, and I too voted confident this week, it is a cautious optimism. This team can continue to prove it has turned a corner by beating teams like the Bengals that are on the down swing. This is the perfect time to prove to us all.

What do you think: can they run the table in the final five games?
