Broncos must continue feeding the ball to Phillip Lindsay

Lindsay is one of those special players where good things always seem to happen when he’s on the field.

Good morning, Broncos Country!

Since we cannot get enough Phillip Lindsay around these parts, let’s keep the tradition alive.

Perhaps there’s a chance, if we keep beating this drum, Bill Musgrave will get the hint. Laurie Lattimore-Volkmann nailed it with her piece earlier this week on the attitude and moxie Lindsay brings to the Denver Broncos. Pete Baron continued the theme at MHR this week with his key to the Cincinnati Bengals game.

Pete’s right: Feed Lindsay the ball. In today’s game, mix it up. Give Lindsay more touches in the passing game. It’s evident to just about everyone that he’s the playmaker on the Broncos offense, so get him more touches.

As I told Adam Malnati on the latest MHR Radio Podcast, Lindsay should get at least 20 carries a game. If Musgrave adds at least five receptions against the Bengals, it opens up the rest of the offense for Case Keenum.

However it happens, feed Lindsay the ball. He’s one of those special players where good things always seem to happen when he’s on the field. You inch forward in your seat because any given play could be the one where the rookie busts free and gets into the end zone.

In other words: Moar Lindsay.
