The Denver Broncos have come down with an illness with both Jared Veldheer and Shane Ray sent home on Friday. Both showed up, but the team made sure to get them back home and away from the rest of the team for now.

“We did, absolutely,” Head Coach Vance Joseph said of sending them home. “That’s smart, right? I’m not a doctor, I’ve said it before (laughs).”

On the good news side of things, tight end Matt LaCosse is coming back from his ankle issue and looks like he could be ready to go on Monday night against the Oakland Raiders.
