The Denver Broncos have officially moved running back Phillip Lindsay to injured reserve after suffering a wrist injury that will require surgery and an extensive rehab. They also moved wide receiver Andre Holmes to injured reserve.
To fill out their roster, the Broncos signed linebacker Aaron Wallace from the Cincinnati Bengals practice squad and cornerback Horace Richardson from the Kansas City Chiefs practice squad in preparation for their game against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
Wallace is a third-year player selected in the seventh-round of the 2016 NFL Draft by the Tennessee Titans. He appeared in one game for the Titans before being waived and subsequently added to the Bengals practice squad.
Richardson is an undrafted free agent who joined the Minnesota Vikings practice squad in 2017. He has since spent time on both the Detroit Lions and Chiefs practice squads before Denver added him to their active roster on Friday.
