Where do the Denver Broncos go from here?

New, comments

Laurie, Jess, and I debate at the end of the Something Something Broncos podcast where the Denver Broncos should go from here.

I know it’s late, but we never sleep around here. Plus, our fifth episode of the Something Something Broncos podcast took three friggin’ hours to upload. It’s as if our Internet was slogging along like the Denver Broncos 2018 season. Laurie, Jess, and I covered all the weeks’ news, but the real part of the show came towards the end when we discussed where the franchise needs to go from here.

Personally, I don’t really care for the 2019 quarterback class and I feel like if John Elway reached for a guy this year he’ll end up with a very disappointing result. Instead, as unpopular as it may seem, he should roll with Case Keenum next year and prepare for some fireworks kind of moves in the 2020 NFL Draft.

With better coaching, this Broncos team can win more than six games. I would even argue they could be a playoff team in 2019 with this same roster and a coaching staff that can coach teams into wins rather than out of them.

What do you think John Elway and the Broncos should do from here heading into the 2019 offseason and beyond?
