Game Preview

The Denver Broncos (6-9) have locked in their first back-to-back losing season since 1971 and could end up having their first back-to-back 10-loss season in 51 years as well if they are unable to complete a clean sweep of their AFC West rival Los Angeles Chargers (11-4) in the final week of the season.

Royce Freeman will see a bulk of the work this week as Phillip Lindsay was sent to injured reserve with a season-ending wrist injury and subsequent surgery.

At stake for the Broncos is essentially their 2019 NFL Draft position, which could be anywhere between 7th and 16th after this week. Then again, sweeping the Chargers would give the players who remain in 2019 a great boost in confidence heading into the next season.

Here is how to watch.

MHR Radio

In this weeks’ podcast, Ian and Adam wonder if the Broncos really have nothing to play for in Week 17.

In Broncos & Bratwurst, Kevin went the route of putting a protective shield up around the Broncos and that was awesome. Yes, we all still love this team and this franchise. Now let’s see them get things back on track in 2019.

Laurie, Jess, and I had a ton of fun in our fifth episode of Something Something Broncos this week. Despite all of the negativity, we did what fans need to do and look towards the future. And let’s face it, the future is promising in Denver despite the poor outcome in 2018.
