The Denver Broncos have made a trade to obtain Su’a Cravens from the Washington Redskins.
Denver is swapping fourth- and fifth-round picks, and giving another 5th-round pick with Washington in exchange for safety Su’a Cravens, per source. Cravens is a Bronco.

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos exchanged fourth and fifth round picks with the Redskins, moving from 109th overall to 113th and moving from 142nd overall to 149th. The Broncos also added in the 163rd pick. If Cravens plays in a playoff game, the Redskins will also pick up an additional 6th round pick in 2020.
The Broncos will have Cravens for three more seasons under his current rookie contract. Cravens will have a cap hit of just $650K in 2018, $850K in 2019, and $1MM in 2020 before becoming an unrestricted free agent.
As for Cravens, he seems about as happy as one could be about being traded from the Redskins to the Broncos. It’s all about that defense here in Denver.
