Martin, a seventh-year back out of Boise St, has struggled to find consistency in the NFL. After bursting onto the scene in his rookie season with 1454 yards and 11 touchdowns, he had under 500 yards rushing in four of his next five seasons as he battled through injuries.
He did have another big year in 2015 with 1400 yards, but it will be on Gruden and his coaching staff to see if they can resurrect Martin’s career.
