Broncos and Bears to hold joint practices before preseason game

The Denver Broncos and Chicago Bears will hold joint practices leading up to their second preseason game against each other.

The Denver Broncos will hold joint practices with the Chicago Bears leading up to their Week 2 preseason game in August. Last year, the Broncos and San Francisco 49ers held joint practice sessions and those tended to be a bit chippy. It should be a fun week.

The Broncos will host the Bears for that game, so the joint practice sessions will take place at Dove Valley. The sessions, according to Mike Klis of 9News, will be on August 15th and 16th leading up to the game.

If the Broncos do end up drafting a quarterback early in the 2018 NFL Draft, then we could also have some Mitch Trubisky vs. rookie quarterback intrigue for this game. Either way, it will be a good test for Case Keenum who will be growing into his starting role.

Broncos 2018 Preseason Schedule

Week 2: vs. Chicago Bears (Aug. 18)

Week 3: at Washington Redskins (Aug. 23-26)
