The 2018 NFL season is drawing closer.
On Monday, the NFL announced official offseason workout program dates. Here are the dates to know for the Broncos.

Denver Broncos offseason schedule:
- Broncos strength and conditioning program begins on April 16th
- OTA offseason workouts: May 22nd-24th, May 29th-31st, and June 4th-7th
- Mandatory Minicamp: June 12th-14th
Per NFL communications, the NFL offseason is broken up into three phases. Here are the details of those three phases and what the Broncos can and can’t do.
As per Article 21 of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, each club’s official, voluntary nine-week offseason program is conducted in three phases:
Phase One consists of the first two weeks of the program with activities limited to strength and conditioning and physical rehabilitation only.
Phase Two consists of the next three weeks of the program. On-field workouts may include individual player instruction and drills as well as team practice conducted on a “separates” basis. No live contact or team offense vs. team defense drills are permitted.
Phase Three consists of the next four weeks of the program. Teams may conduct a total of 10 days of organized team practice activity, or “OTAs”. No live contact is permitted, but 7-on-7, 9-on-7, and 11-on-11 drills are permitted.
During that time we will see the Broncos now led by starting quarterback Case Keenum lead the 2018 Broncos through their first practices of the year.
We will also see Broncos Head Coach Vance Joseph begin his second(and hopefully better) season in the NFL. Former intern-Offensive Coordinator Bill Musgrave will begin his first full season as Offensive Coordinator or the Broncos. Also, Joe Woods will begin his second year as the Broncos Defensive Coordinator and hopes to keep that unit strong once again in 2018. So it will be an interesting beginning to the spring for the Broncos.
It will also give former first-round pick Paxton Lynch one last chance to sway the Broncos decision-makers from selecting a quarterback in the first-round of the 2018 NFL Draft. He has been reportedly working on his body this offseason, but will this help him become a better quarterback? We shall see.
