Von Miller ticketed for speeding on way to OTA’s

Denver Broncos edge rusher Von Miller seems to have a problem with speeding.

Normally a speeding ticket is no big deal, but for Von Miller it may be turning into a bigger deal. On May 16th, Miller was ticketed for going 71 mph in a 45 mph zone on Broncos Parkway.

It was the first two of two speeding tickets he has gotten this year, with the second coming June 19th in Denver.

The last time he had this many traffic infractions was in 2012-13. That year he even missed a court appearance, which resulted in further embarrassment. It was something he even addressed publicly.

“With speeding — I’ve had a trouble with the pedal to the metal,” Miller told The Denver Post in 2013. “I’m working to try to fix that too. I understand I have to be on top of all this stuff. The constant battle with procrastination is what it all boils down to. If you get a speeding ticket, you have to stay on top of it.”

Miller is having himself a Hall of Fame career having already racked up six Pro Bowl appearances, a Super Bowl MVP, and 83.5 sacks. At 29, he is still in the prime of his career.

Hopefully, he takes care of these infractions and we won’t be following up with reports on missed court appearances.
