According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Denver Broncos are considering bringing in wide receiver Corey Brown. The 26 year old wide receiver played his first three seasons with the Carolina Panthers.
He has been a good contributor for the Panthers, but not exactly a true starting wide receiver just yet. He has compiled 79 receptions for 1019 yards and seven touchdowns in three seasons.
In Super Bowl 50, Brown was on his way to being a Bronco-killer with 4 receptions for 80 yards and some big-time catches before suffering a concussion that knocked him out of the game.
With Carlos Henderson on the “Did Not Report” list to start Broncos camp and Jordan Taylor on the PUP, the team will definitely be looking to fill the roster with some veteran talent. Brown would fit that bill perfectly.
