Royce Freeman had the best Broncos rookie performance against the Vikings

New, comments

The Denver Broncos rookie who impressed the most was running back Royce Freeman.

While Phillip Lindsay had a good night with two carries for seven yards and three receptions for 40 yards and a touchdown, it was Royce Freeman who had the most impressive night of the Denver Broncos 2018 rookie class during their first preseason game.

This touchdown run was a thing of beauty. He finished the night with four carries for 38 yards and 1 touchdown in limited work against the Minnesota Vikings.

Other rookie performances of note beyond those two running backs:

  • Josey Jewell - 5 tackles (3 solo)
  • Jeff Holland - 1 tackle (solo - TFL), 1 sack, 1 QB hit
