MHR Live: Barely fight left

Week three of camp brings the Chicago Bears to Denver, but with 10% of their roster sidelined do the Broncos have enough calcium to have a bone to pick?

MHR Live: Barely there

Breaking: According to a report the charges against Denver Broncos defensive end Adam Gotsis have been dropped. Even the might Orange Crush can be chipped to next to nothing. Today’s joint practice with the Chicago Bears saw the return of several injured Broncos, including cornerback Tramaine Brock and defensive end Clinton McDonald. However, several of Denver’s best missed practice as well, including cornerback Chris Harris and outside linebacker Shaquil Barrett. The remaining players out of practice were: safety Su’a Cravens, safety Dymonte Thomas, cornerback Michael Hunter, center Sam Jones, guard J.J. Dielman and tight end Troy Fumagalli. Chad Kelly’s first game action as a second-string quarterback went about as well as Paxton Lynch’s opportunities have gone as a second-string quarterback. Kelly at one point ran during a rush-less 7-on-7 period only to be follow by Lynch making the same mistake in the following grouping. That’s the bad news, the good news is Case Keenum had a fine day and that means that Emmanuel Sanders had a fine day and Courtland Sutton had a fine day. Sutton did leave the field for a brief time to be evaluated for injury and he returned.
