The New Orleans Saints and New York Jets may have cut-off the Denver Broncos ‘Plan A’ ending an out of market rumor that the Broncos would pursue a seasoned veteran quarterback to assist Case Keenum on game days.
Quarterback Teddy Bridgewater has been traded to New Orleans in exchange the Saints sent a 3rd round pick to the Jets. The Jets also curb any calls for Bridgewater in the event that their rookie quarterback Sam Darnold struggles early on.
The bridge has run out of air to cover and the bubbles are rotating players off into that wood chipper known as the waiver wire. Thirty-seven men per team will not have jobs by Saturday.
