The Denver Broncos released their first depth chart of the year, but it is probably the least real depth chart you’ll see. Head coach Vance Joseph spent much of his time on Monday noted that the depth chart everyone saw is going to change five more times before Week 1.
“That’s part of the league. It’s league-mandated,” Joseph said. “For us, it’s a starting point. It means nothing right now. We’ve had one scrimmage and seven practices, so we’ll get through preseason and see where we stand with the depth chart. It’s going to change probably 50 more times, hopefully. We don’t want to stay where we are. We’ve got major competition at a lot of areas here, so it should change some.”
With the first preseason game coming up fast this Saturday against the Minnesota Vikings, the Broncos are now in full game preparation mode.
For now, here’s your live updates for Day 10 of Broncos camp.
