The Denver Broncos have made several roster transactions that included cutting Isaiah McKenzie.

The Denver Broncos announced on Monday that they were waiving wide receiver Isaiah McKenzie and releasing wide receiver River Cracraft.

McKenzie was reportedly waived to make room for safety Shamarko Thomas who will help improve the Broncos special teams unit, while Cracraft was released to bring wide receiver Carlos Henderson back onto the practice squad unit.

If the Broncos want McKenzie back onto the practice squad when he clears waivers on Tuesday, then they will need to make one more transaction on the practice squad to make room for him.

Update: 9/11/2018

According to Mike Klis of 9News, the Broncos did indeed sign Thomas to the 53-man roster. However, they also released defensive lineman DeShawn Williams from the practice squad and signed defensive lineman Niles Scott in his place.

Shortly after, the Broncos also released Kyle Peko from the practice squad. That might free up a spot for McKenzie now.
