The Denver Broncos added Adam Jones to the roster just before the start of the season. He sat down with Orange and Blue 760’s 1st and 10 at 10. He has made an immediate impact on the defense. He discussed his adjustment to Denver’s scheme, the altitude, and his take on the rivalry between the Broncos and Raiders.
Jones has played for Vance Joseph before, and knows what is expected of him. Aside from learning terminology, he seems to be adjusting well. Ryan Edwards pointed out that he made a key read on Justin Simmons interception, which helped lead to the safety picking off Russell Wilson.
Justin Simmons is what scouts called a ball hawk. That interception was the kind of ball hawking you get when you test Simmons.— MileHighReport (@MileHighReport) September 9, 2018
Simmons 4 tackles, 1 PD, 1 interception
When asked about the rivalry between Denver and Oakland, he clearly knew the importance of the game. Jones is a veteran of big rivalry games between the Bengals and the Steelers. He knows what to expect, and understands the importance of the game to the fans. He will be ready on Sunday for a big game.
The guys took some time to talk to Phil Milani about the Broncos game against the Seahawks, and the upcoming rivalry game against the Raiders.
