Original Story: Denver Broncos tight end Jake Butt is undergoing evaluation with a left knee injury he suffered through walk-through’s on Thursday.
#Broncos Jake Butt not practicing today because of left knee injury suffered in practice. Stinks. He is just starting to develop in this offense. Will keep you updated. But not being out there today is obviously a concern. #Denver7

According to Nicki Jhabvala of The Athletic, Butt will have an MRI on the knee injury. His status will remain unclear until those test results come back.
Butt had emerged as a solid pass-catching threat through the first three games, so any significant injury will have a severe impact on the Broncos passing attack moving forward. Butt has eight catches for 85 yards, which leads all tight ends. Jeff Heuerman figures to take over the snaps as he has five catches for 32 yards as the secondary pass catching option at tight end through the first three games.
We will update this story as more information comes through.
