The Denver Broncos and Kansas City Chiefs released their second injury report of the week ahead of their Monday Night showdown. There wasn’t much changes to the injury report today outside of tight end Jake Butt’s absence after he tore his ACL during yesterday’s practice.

The only real noteworthy injury facing the Broncos is the one to veteran cornerback, Tramaine Brock. He missed his second-straight practice but Head Coach Vance Joseph seems optimistic about the veteran playing Monday night. He told reporters after practice that “I’m hopeful. He ran today without pain, so we’ll see. It’s still early.” when asked about his chances of being on the field Monday Night.
Another injury situation to keep an eye on is the one to the other veteran cornerback. That cornerback being Adam “Pac Man” Jones who missed last Sunday’s game due to a thigh injury. When asked if Jones would have any limitations on Monday night, Vance Joseph said “As of now, no.” which is good to hear.
The Broncos will need both corners out there on Monday night if they hope to stop the Chiefs high powered offense and give them their first loss of the year.
As for the Chiefs, they received some good news on the injury front. OLB Justin Houston and LB Terrance Smith returned to practice and put in a full practice. Fellow OLB Dee Ford who was listed as a DNP on Thursday put in a limited practice on Friday.
Here is full Friday injury report for the Denver Broncos and the Kansas City Chiefs.
