Denver Broncos long snapper Casey Kreiter got himself a surprise when 2019 Pro Bowl head coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, Anthony Lynn, named Kreiter is “need” player for the Pro Bowl roster.

Kreiter is the first Broncos long snapper to earn a Pro Bowl invite and according to the Broncos press release handled 146 total snaps without an unplayable delivery in 2018. Kreiter was signed by the Broncos during the 2016 offseason and has been the teams starting long snapper ever since.

He will join Von Miller and Phillip Lindsay in the Pro Bowl, with Bradley Chubb, Emmanuel Sanders, and Chris Harris Jr. standing by as alternates for the game.
