The fifth seeded Los Angeles Chargers also had the second-best record in the AFC, but finished second in the division behind the Kansas City Chiefs. They will take on the 10-6 AFC North division winner Baltimore Ravens in the Wild Card round.
The Ravens have built a playoff contender on a strong defense and a hybrid Tebow-like offense (with the exception that the throwing threat is real. lol) that is leading the league in rushing. The Chargers, meanwhile, had a chance to take the AFC West and stumbled late in the season to give it right back to the Chiefs. They’ve definitely earned being a 12-4 road team this week.
