Thursday’s game weighs a great deal on the path of the Denver Broncos’ season

As the Broncos build off two wins in a row, they are preparing for the biggest game of the season at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.

NFL: Denver Broncos at Kansas City Chiefs Jay Biggerstaff-USA TODAY Sports

Things are trending up for the Denver Broncos heading into Thursday night’s game at home against the Kansas City Chiefs.

On one hand, this game may not seem meaningful outside of Broncos Country. After all, we aren’t really supposed to beat them, right?

I’m mean, this is the team that is going to play the New England Patriots in the AFC Championship later this season, right?

And this Broncos team is a rebuilding team with a former super star athlete turned clueless wonder at GM, right?

I think everyone in Broncos Country knows that this game means more. This game could be the fulcrum between being bid sellers at the trade deadline and making a push for the playoffs.

At least that’s the hope that I have which has been gained after seeing this team climb up to 2-4 after opening the season with four straight losses.
