Broncos at Colts odds: Denver solid underdogs in Week 8

The Denver Broncos are mere 5.5-point underdogs on the road against the Indianapolis Colts despite coming off a blowout loss at home last week.

After coming off a 30-6 beatdown at home on Thursday Night Football, the Denver Broncos had a little more drama going on the following week as Emmanuel Sanders requested and received a trade with John Elway sending him to the San Francisco 49ers for draft picks.

Despite all that, Denver stands at just a 5.5-point underdog on the road against a strong Indianapolis Colts team with an over/under of 43.5. Oddsshark has the Colts winning handily 28-16, which is totally believable given the recent game each team has played.

The Colts present a very balance threat, which will give head coach Vic Fangio some challenges on defense.

“The balance of it,” Fangio said of the Colts. “They run the ball I think the third most times in the league, so they’re committed to the run. They have good receivers. The quarterback’s playing well. They go for shots in the passing game. They do a good job of mixing it up with their play calling. They’ll have a gadget or two every game. They’re just playing really good offense right now.”

The line seems to favor a bet on the Colts, which the public has proven is correct with a vast majority of the money going towards the home team.

Kickoff is set for 11:00 a.m. Mile High time on Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana.
