The Denver Broncos look to shake off the bad game they had last week as they take on the Indianapolis Colts on the road in Week 8.

Fan confidence has reached all-time lows after the Denver Broncos laid a giant egg on Thursday Night Football last week after winning two-straight games before that. Now they hit the road to take on a playoff contender in the Indianapolis Colts in Week 8.

Predictably, there has been a massive overreaction to one game from fans and the media. Almost no one is giving the Broncos a chance in this game. And while they may not win, I am predicting they will play the Colts tough and it will be a close game.

It will be hard to predict how these teams will matchup. Both have solid defenses, which means the Colts have the edge with a much more balanced and efficient offense than Denver. Joe Flacco and the offense will need to actually perform in an NFL game is they are to come out of today with a win. That is something I don’t have a whole lot of confidence in, but if the defense can keep the score low, anything can happen.
