Okay, so the lineups over the past two weeks have been...not so good but that’s not going to bring us down since, as we all know, we are always one great lineup away from glory. The strategy this week will be to spend big money on about half of the team and then dig in the dumpster for the rest. Will it work? Of course it will.
The lineup is taken from Draftkings.com
QB - Drew Brees
New Orleans was embarrassed at home by a terrible Atlanta team and this week get the chance to rebound against the 32nd ranked Tampa Bay defense. My gut says it could turn into a shootout and that would be good news for us and our fantasy matchups.
RB - Devin Singletary
This guy has been one of the most underutilized players in all of the NFL and I’m really totally positive that someday, eventually, he is going to explode for a huge game. Sadly, I said that last week and it didn’t happen but this week he is playing against the lowly Dolphins defense and will have as good a chance as ever to be a big part of the offense.
RB - Adrian Peterson
The guy has averaged 5.1 yards per carry in the past four weeks and has shown to still have big playmaking ability despite his age. He’s facing a Jet’s rush defense that has been really quite good but with the rookie Haskins back in at QB, I think that AP will get plenty of touches.
WR - Courtland Sutton
The Minnesota Vikings pass defense has been surprisingly not fantastic while Sutton has been the best story of the year for Denver. He’s an incredible talent and will hopefully break one or two and go the distance.
WR - Curtis Samuel
There’s no way that the Falcons are going to play two great games in a row on defense and Carolina will look to rebound after a brutal loss to the Packers last week. He’s not one to put up a lot of yards but he regularly finds his way into the endzone and I’m betting he will make that happen at least once against Atlanta.
WR - Mike Evans
Big Mike and Famous Jameis have figured things out lately and are capable of putting up ridiculous numbers each week. This week they face a decent New Orleans pass defense but look for Evans to get plenty of targets and hopefully some in the endzone.
TE - Greg Olson
Yeah, again, he hasn’t always paid off but he’s super cheap considering the points per game he puts up and he is playing against a weak Atlanta defense. Sign me up.
FLEX - DJ Chark
Chark is a bit of a risk because he really caught fire while Gardner Minshew was in at QB and we don’t know if he will have the same relationship with Nick Foles. That said, it’s quite possible that he is even better with Foles than with Gardner and it’s worth risking it this week in their game against the Colts.
DST - Buffalo Bills
We all know very well that one of these days, Ryan Fitzmagic will revert back to being Ryan Fitzturnover and it could very likely happen this week against the Bills. It’s a good not great defense but has a high ceiling in week 11.
